Garment Printing
Pricing for Garment Printing
We used to have a price sheet for this! But, we have found there are too many variables for each job that comes through our shop. Please read the Guidelines & Info page and then contact us for a quote.
Garment Types
We will print on any garment that is at least 50% cotton. We can order anything listed on S&S Activewear, our preferred wholesale provider, or we can print on your stock! The options are overwhelming so we tend to point our customers toward brands we have grown to trust from a quality and inventory perspective. We prefer Gildan (budget), Next Level (mid-tier ringspun cotton with a slimmer profile), Comfort Colors (mid-tier traditional fit) and American Apparel for a more premium option.
Ink Types
Our goal is to capture your vision. Choosing what ink types to use can completely change the look and feel of a garment. To help you along in the process, we offered some information on each ink type that we provide.
Water-based is our standard ink for lightweight, light color garments. While remaining bright and bold, water based ink has almost no feel (soft-hand), which is perfect for clients who want to achieve an extremely high quality finish and a more fashionable look. When printing on a dark garment, we prefer discharge.
Discharge is our standard ink for lightweight dark garments. This ink type essentially removes the dye pigment and replaces it with your prefered color! This results in a print application that has no hand and literally becomes part of the fabric. Depending on the job, we will either use a colored discharge or print a white discharge base, then apply water-based colors on top.
We tend to use Softhand Plastisol for thicker garments like sweatshirts and hoodies. It gives the garment a softer and lighter feel than traditional plastisol. However, the print will have a rougher hand than water-based ink.
